Excessive stress, anxiety, obsessive thoughts, and even depressive thoughts can manifest during all different time periods in our life.
Many of the work with my clients surrounds around life transitions, illness, loss, work repeated stress and relationship issues/break ups. While times like these can get tough and may even feel unbearable, it is important for you to know that these feelings/situations are completely normal and you do not have to cope with these feelings and situations on your own.
Through connection and deep understanding and warmth, along with using cognitive behavior therapy and other therapeutic modalities, my clients are able to achieve tremendous shifts/breakthroughs in their emotional well being.
I believe in a client-centered psychotherapy approach. I have experience working with adolescents, young adults, adults and senior citizens struggling in areas such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, family problems, self-esteem, transition periods, body image and eating disorders.
"Change your thoughts and you have the potential to change your whole world." -Norman Vincent Peale
While it may be hard to take the first step, I encourage you to reach out to me if you feel we might be a good fit. I look forward to starting the therapeutic process.

When life becomes unmanageable it can make one feel very alone. It’s in these moments that we need to reach out for help and guidance to get ourselves back on track. We know that anxiety, depression, anger, grief, etc. are all issues that we deal with throughout our lifetime. What some do not know is that we don’t have to deal with these emotions on our own. There are many different coping skills in place to help you manage and heal.
I practice a client centered based therapy which gives my clients freedom to focus on their issues and find inner strength while we work together to create a better life. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with issues such as anxiety, depression, eating disorders, addiction, trichotillomania, and self harm.
It can be difficult to ask for help but when we do, it can make life so much better. If you feel you could benefit from this, then please reach out and together we can start the process.

Let’s be honest, life can sometimes be hard to live, but it doesn’t have to be. Everyone is entitled to a life of joy. At times our circumstances, trauma, mental health diagnosis, and/or medical condition may seem to stand in the way of that. With the right therapist you can find joy and life can feel better to live.
I believe most people are trying to be a better person today than they were yesterday. Without judgement, I will guide you through how to best manage what is holding you back from that life of joy.
A bit about me, my education is from Stony Brook University where I am a member of the Phi Alpha Honor Society. In a clinical setting I have experience with those with anxiety, depression, PTSD, social anxiety, OCD, behavioral issues, substance use, along with a variety of mental health diagnoses. Beyond clinical therapy the experience I have is in school and community social work as well as crisis management, intervention, and assessment. The populations that I have served are adolescents to adults, as well as those with intellectual disabilities. I am working towards obtaining my PMH-C, which is a perinatal mental health certificate. That certificate will give me the intimate knowledge and expertise needed to work with maternal mental health issues including PPD, traumatic birth, and loss.
